MSIA Merdeka Celebration
& Annual Dinner 2023

Friday, 25 August 2023, 7 PM to 10 PM, Hilton Kuala Lumpur

The MSIA Merdeka Celebration 2023 will be held on Friday 25 August 2023 at the Hilton Kuala Lumpur from 7:00pm to 10:00pm.

Malaysia is a key global player in semiconductor. Malaysia is an economic beneficiary from the E&E industry. E&E is a source of soft power globally for Malaysia due to Malaysia’s importance in the E&E global supply chain.

We hope that your presence will signal to the E&E industry in Malaysia and globally that E&E is important to Malaysia and Malaysia has ambitious plans for the industry. Malaysia aim to move-up the value-chain with high-income jobs, develop its own Malaysian global champions and to double the E&E exports from RM593 billion in 2022 to RM1.2 trillion by 2030. This is in line with global forecast that the semiconductor industry will double from US$550 billion in 2022 to US$1 trillion by 2030.
